Since 1999, we have been webcasting as Branson World Radio. Programmed to play "Today's Hot Country", "Top-40 Country" and "Classic Country", BWR's mission has always been to promote the events, happenings, special appearances and festivals in and around Branson, MO. - the "Live Entertainment Capitol". As information becomes available, we also promote the same information from areas throughout the Ozarks. Future plans include adding a second stream, programmed to play Classic Rock from the 70s through the 90s.
Our stream is webcast over Live365 - the "World's largest radio network on the Internet". With more than two million unique listeners per month worldwide, BWR is syndicated on iTunes, Sony, HP, Philips, Windows Media Player, Windows Media Center and various other mobile devices and websites. This also gives us access to online audio services such as Tune-In Radio, Athena365, MyGen365 and Roku Internet TV.
Over the years, we have made our original Internet streams and podcasts available to more than 50 AM/FM Broadcast stations across the Midwest and Southeast. Currently, we are networked with 22 broadcast stations in 4 states. As of January 1, 2012, OIRN will be taking over the programming and development of another Internet radio stream from Nashville, TN..
